Sclerosis multiplex patří do skupiny zánětlivých onemocnění bíle hmoty. Vedle genetické predispozice se na její manifestaci podílí i vnější faktory. Magnetická rezonance je zobrazovaci metoda s vysokou rozlišovací schopností, ktera odhali i velmi diskretni patologicka loziska mozkove tkane. Prace prezentuje zakladni metody MR vysetreni i mene caste metody (magnetizacni transfer, difuze, MR spektroskopie).
