Autoři podávají přehled základních a nejčastěji se vyskytujících iatrogenních cévních mozkových příhod (CMP). Po rozdělení na skupinu ischemických a skupinu hemoragických CMP se dále diferencují podskupiny podle charakteru iatrogenní příčiny. Je uvedeno pět kazuistik, které svým mechanizmem vzniku, průběhem i výsledky pomocných vyšetření přibližují zajímavou problematiku iatrogenních CMP a upozorňují čtenáře na tyto nemocné.
