Nesteroidní analgetika

Autor pojednává o účincích nesteroidních antirevmatik (NSA) v léčbě neuropatické bolesti, podrobně jsou rozebrány jejich indikace, ale i jejich vedlejší účinky.

Na základě dostupné literatury je možné doporučit, že při akutní bolesti je nejdůležitějším požadavkem analgetický účinek a při respektování kontraindikací se nemusíme orientovat na selektivitu enzymu COX-2. U chronické bolesti je kvůli uvedeným možným účinkům vhodné u pacientů dlouhodobě léčených NSA využívat léky s vyšší selektivitou k enzymu COX-2.
