Článek pojednává o možnostech diagnostiky a moderní terapie myasthenia gravis. Vychází z dlouholetých zkušeností autorů. Upozorňuje na nejčastější chyby, ke kterým dochází při stanovení diagnózy. Myasthenia gravis je v současné době relativně dobře léčitelným onemocněním, pokud se respektují zásady správně vedené léčby. Řada omylů je spojena s nevhodným dávkováním, nerespektováním nežádoucích účinků farmak a volbou nesprávných léčebných postupů.
