Krční ortézy a jejich význam v klinické praxi

Autoři sdělení rozebírají kontroverzní problematiku krčních ortéz. V přehledném článku podle biomechanických vlastností rozdělují zevní krční opory na měkké límce, semirigidní a rigidní ortézy, nastiňují jejich indikační okruhy. Zvláštní pozornost věnují problematice léčby akutní a chronické vertebrogenní bolesti imobilizací krční páteře. Čtenáře seznamují s potenciálními riziky spojenými s dlouhodobým užíváním límce.
