Multifokální motorická neuropatie

Multifokální motorická neuropatie je vzácná autoimunitní neuropatie se subakutním až chronickým průběhem. Klinicky se manifestuje asymetrickou distání slabostí s predilekčním postižením horních končetin. Pro diagnostiku má zásadní význam elektrofyziologický nález perzistujících, multifokálních, částečných bloků motorického vedení, relativně specifickým markerem je i přítomnost autoprotilátek proti GM1 gangliozidům. Léčba intravenózním lidským imunoglobulinem vede k funkčnímu zlepšení u 50–60 % případů nebo alespoň ke stabilizaci stavu; určitý efekt má i cyklofosfamid. Klinický význam této vzácné jednotky tkví v klinické podobnosti s onemocněním motorického neuronu, u kterého neexistuje v současnosti adekvátní účinná léčba.
