Článek upozorňuje na recentní pokrok ve využití EEG, zejména CEEG, u kriticky nemocných pacientů. Uvádí indikace EEG, nejčastější nálezy, se kterými se může klinický elektroencefaligrafista setkat, a upozorňuje na jejich interpretaci, zejména s ohledem na její prognostické využití.
