Úvod: Akutní zánětlivá demyelinizační polyradikuloneuritida (AIDP) je nejčastější jednotkou v rámci Guillain Barrého syndromu (GBS) v naší zemi. Jedná se o rychle progredující periferní polyneuropatii s areflexií, proteinocytologickou disociací v likvoru a charakteristickým nálezem v klinické elektromyografii (EMG). K diagnostice AIDP je používáno několik diagnostických kritérií s různou výtěžností. Cílem předložené práce bylo srovnat výsledky vlastního souboru s literárními kritérii a diskutovat jejich senzitivitu a specificitu zejména v časných fázích onemocnění.
