Léčba dle McKenzieho v terapii vertebrogenních poruch – úvod

MDT – mechanická diagnostika a terapie – je metodický postup užívaný v terapii algických vertebrogenních poruch vypracovaný Robinem McKenziem. Základem je klasifikace bolestivých stavů do 4 skupin (derangement, dysfunkce, posturální syndrom, jiné), ze kterých vychází terapie. Robin McKenzie vyšel ze svých zkušeností s vyšetřováním bederní páteře, tentýž klasifikační systém aplikoval na krční a hrudní páteř a nakonec i na vyšetření periferních kloubů. Toto sdělení je úvodem do problematiky bolestí vycházejících z bederní páteře, jednotlivé syndromy budou podrobněji vysvětleny v následujících číslech.
