Prvá pomoc a konzervatívna liečba pri poranení miechy a zlomeninách chrbtice

Autor predkladá základné aspekty manažmentu pacienta s poranením chrbtice, resp. miechy, od momentu úrazu, cez prednemocničnú starostlivosť až po prijatie pacienta na urgentnom príjme. Následne prezentuje odporúčané diagnostické pos­tupy, či už klinické alebo röntgenologické, postup riešení pridružených poranení, ako aj možnosti farmakologickej liečby poranenia miechy. Záverom sú diskutované otázky konzervatívnej liečby pri niektorých typoch poranení chrbtice a problematika komplexnej starostlivosti o spinálneho pacienta.
