Chirurgické řešení úrazů horní krční páteře

Úrazy horní krční páteře jsou příčinou četných úmrtí. Asi polovina postižených umírá na místě nehody, ale ti, kteří přežijí, často nemají žádný neurologický deficit, jsou však vážně ohroženi sekundárním poškozením. Z uvedeného vyplývá, že je velmi důležité tato poranění správně diagnostikovat, klasifikovat a adekvátně léčit. Jednotlivé typy poranění jsou značně specifické a vyžadují odlišné léčebné postupy. Na základě zkušenosti se 132 chirurgicky léčenými pacienty s úrazem horní krční páteře si dovolujeme předložit stručný návod, jak postupovat.
