Komorbidita nemocí svalů a periferních nervů

U nemocí svalů a periferních nervů se velmi často vyskytuje jak postižení jiných orgánů tak i současná přítomnost dalších nemocí. Hereditární myopatie jsou charakteristické častým postižením srdce (převodního systému i myokardu), méně častá je porucha intelektu či smyslových orgánů. Získané myopatie mívají zvýšený výskyt autoimunitních chorob a nádorů. U poruch nervosvalového převodu se mohou současně vyskytovat poruchy endokrinních žláz, autoimunitní nemoci i nádory (zejména tymu). Pro zánětlivé neuropatie je charakteristický vztah k vyvolávajícím faktorům (různé infekce, systémové nemoci). Příslušnou komorbiditou se vyznačují i karenční neuropatie, neuropatie při poruše funkce jednotlivých orgánů či postižení periferních nervů u nemocných s nádory.
