Repetitivní transkraniální magnetická stimulace a možnosti jejího potenciálního terapeutického využití u extrapyramidových onemocnění

Transkraniální magnetická stimulace je neinvazivní dynamicky se rozvíjející metoda sloužící k funkčnímu vyšetření centrál­ního nervového systému. Do centra zájmu se v poslední dekádě soustřeďuje potenciální terapeutické využití repetitivní transkraniální magnetické stimulace (rTMS). Řada prací prokázala, že rTMS dočasně zmírňuje příznaky deprese, schizofrenie, některých extrapyramidových onemocnění a epilepsie. Limitací této metody pro zavedení do rutinní klinické praxe nadále zůstává nedostatečné pochopení mechanizmu jejího účinku a nejednoznačné výsledky kontrolovaných studií. Záměrem této práce je seznámit stručně s metodou rTMS a s výsledky doposud publikovaných klinických studií u extrapyramidových onemocnění.
