...vstupujeme do sedmého roku života Neurologie pro praxi. Snažili jsme se stvořit časopis, který bude svým praktickým zaměřením užitečným zdrojem informací pro českou a slovenskou neurologickou obec. Vy víte lépe než já, zda a do jaké míry se nám to podařilo. Nezamýšleli jsme konkurovat ani Brainu, ani Annals of Neurology. Myslím, že špičková věda má být publikovaná anglicky, aby byla dostupná všem, protože věda má objevovat nové a tedy výsledky výzkumu jsou již z definice prioritní. Česká či slovenská priorita mi zní jako contradictio in adjecto. Aby mělo smysl publikovat vědecké výsledky česky a slovensky, měly by být praktické, nebo by měly vycházet ze zdejších specifik. Takovým poskytuje prostor i Neurologie pro praxi. Stejně jako kazuistikám, v jejichž publikaci vidím jeden z hlavních úkolů našeho časopisu. Byli bychom moc rádi, kdybyste nám jich posílali více...
