Silné opioidy v léčbě chronické bolesti

Silné opioidy jsou analgetika pro léčbu intenzivní a těžko ovlivnitelné bolesti. Jejich použití není vyhrazeno jen pro nádorovou bolest a uplatňují se i u chronické nenádorové bolesti. Základní látkou je morfin, který je i referenčním agens pro srovnávání analgetického účinku dalších opioidů. V současné době je k dispozici několik druhů opioidů v moderních lékových formách umožňujících postupné uvolňování a tím zajištění stabilní efektivní analgetické koncentrace v séru. Tento výběr umožňuje optimalizaci analgetické léčby se zřetelem na vysokou individuální vnímavost k opioidům.
