Mozková žilní trombóza - stále opomíjené onemocnění

Mozková žilní trombóza (MŽT) je vzácné onemocnění s pestrou klinickou manifestací. Postihuje relativně často pacienty v mladém věku. Na základě čtyř kazuistik jsou zdůrazněny některé jevy a úskalí spojené s rozpoznáním MŽT. Mladík s nezvyklou bolestí hlavy připomínající migrenózní záchvat, muž ve středním věku po epileptickém primozáchvatu s hemoragickým ložiskem na CT mozku, mladá dívka s postupně narůstající dezorientací – u všech těchto pacientů byla diagnostikována MŽT. CT a zejména MR mozku významně přispívají k rozpoznání, a tím k časnému zahájení účinné léčby. Nezbytnou součástí péče o pacienta je pátrání po příčině trombózy a následné určení délky a způsobu léčby v chronickém stadiu onemocnění.
