Liečba epileptických syndrómov v detskom veku s nepriaznivou prognózou

Autor v prehľadnom článku definuje epileptické encefalopatie, popisuje stručne ich klinický obraz, EEG nálezy a priebeh a sumarizuje doterajšie poznatky o ich liečbe. Zaoberá sa predovšetkým včasnými epileptickými encefalopatiami, Westovým, Lennox-Gastautovým, Dravetovej a Laudau-Kleffnerovým syndrómom a syndrómom s kontinuálnymi výbojmi v pomalom spánku. Liečba týchto syndrómov je prevažne empirická, chýbajú rozsiahlejšie klinické štúdie a je vo všeobecnosti neúspešná.
