Nejčastější poranění periferních nervů dolních končetin

Poranění periferních nervů jsou v době míru součástí dopravních, sportovních a průmyslových úrazů. Jejich diagnostika je častou součástí běžné ambulantní neurologické praxe i konziliární neurologické služby na traumatologických odděleních. Kromě klasických řezných, sečných, bodných a střelných poranění jsou významná iatrogenní poranění periferních nervů a akutní kompresivní mononeuropatie (např. u sportovců). Existuje plynulý přechod od klasických traumat periferních nervů k akutním kompresivním mononeuropatiím. V diagnostickém procesu hraje důležitou roli mechanizmus poranění, topická diagnostika nervové léze, elektromyografické vyšetření a zobrazovací metody. V léčbě je klíčové rozhodnutí, zda a kdy má být u poraněného nervu indikována konzervativní (rehabilitační) nebo chirurgická léčba (revize nervu).
