Vyšetření čichu a jeho význam pro diagnostiku neurodegenerativních onemocnění

Porucha čichu může být jedním z prvních projevů neurodegenerativního onemocnění mozku. Byla popsána a podrobně studována u Parkinsonovy choroby i u dalších neurodegenerativních onemocnění. V poslední době se dostává do popředí zájmu jako jeden z časných markerů Alzheimerovy choroby, který lze využít i v diferenciální diagnostice. Autoři předkládají přehledný článek pojednávající o specificích čichového postižení u jednotlivých chorob, čichových testech a uplatnění vyšetření čichu v diagnostice neurodegenerativních onemocnění.
