Palliative treatment in stroke

Recent years have seen considerable advances in acute stroke treatment. Patiens who survive the acute phase following stroke often

retain severe limitations of motor and cognitive functions and communicative problems. This article describes basic questions of paliative

care and treatment for stroke patiens.
